STEAL MY GIRL

Guess what piece I'm restyling in this ensemble? If you can remember it, then :) And yeah, below this post is a nice song I'm liking now.

TWO-TONED

8 comments:

I miss everyone here, my dear readers and followers! I shall admit, with my nine hours six days a week work, got no time to blog and even visit my blog. And this really makes me feel sad and incomplete. Tried some ways to have time to shoot before I go to work but still...well because we have uniform and that's really a problem for me as a fashion blogger. I even hadn't made a post for this blog's two years anniversary. Does it count though? I don't even blog a lot this 2014. :(

Enough of this little drama, go on to this simple outfit but it's so chic. I got this crop top from MiNT Addict for only Php150 and it has a soft fabric! And the skirt? Ta---daa! Php50 from a thrift shop! You believe it? So, do you like the simple get-up too? (And oh sorry for not ironing the skirt, too lazy that day to haha). Thank you my friend G for taking these shots as always!

A PIECE & A PAIR

8 comments:

Currently being busy with office-to-house-to-office-to-house routine and barely even blog or read other blogs as I usually do before. Nevertheless, here's a quick post for tonight, this one-piece jumpsuit was so common back last summer I know you know right. Got this monthsss before from Romwe. When you don't know what to wear or how you'll make your #ootd effortlessly chic, go for prints like this. I didn't even accessorize just a pair of matching earrings and there you go.

WE'LL NEVER BE ROYALS

3 comments:

"And we'll never be royals. It don't run in our blood, that kind of luxe just ain't for us. We crave a different kind of buzz. Let me be your ruler, you can call me Queenly...oops hahaha! Okay being corny here. So moving on into this look with my current fave royal blue jeggings (I super love this pair of garterized pants, comfy-ness check!), you can say that it's a simple one and yes it is but still trying to bring some classy here with this nude mesh shirt with golden flowery stitches and what I love with it is the sleeves. Simply cute, ain't it? Accessorizing with golds (gold or gold-plated) gives that simple top and bottom look a bit of class and timeless and oh a pair of nude stilettos will do the thing! But for now, let me choose classic comfy and rock these flats on.

SOMETHING SHORT

6 comments:
Almost two months and I'm finally back on track!!! My heart is so happy to be able to blog again. And of course what I miss the most are my dear readers. Maybe because it's my first time to work plus I only have one day-off a week that's why I'm having hard time to adjust. I know, I know, I know, time management is all it takes! Really gonna give my best (not try my best). Also, feel so little motivation and encouragement lately...why oh why? Anyway, should be back to my inspired self!

So here's a refreshing outfit for you guys! Aside from turquoise, I also love mint. I remember there are some requests back then if I could post mint outfits so here it is. If you're a regular Smize With Style reader, you know this is my first time in crop top (as far as I remember hahaha but wait is this one counted?). I even got this mint short from Romwe just exactly on time to pair with my mint crop top from MiNT yay! I was thinking to finish it up with white sandals to tone down but completely chosen to wear these electric blue flats to add up more color aside from the orange accessories and oh that hair clip-in extension is just so cute and fun! Messy hair don't care for this post.

FOUR IN ONE

Did I make your mind go crazy thinking of this ensemble as tribal chic, edgy corporate attire, music fest fashion, or just simply modern casual? O'diba 4-in-1! When I saw this aztec bandage skirt hanging in a store, I didn't think twice and bought it without knowing how will I wear it. Plus it was just P150 together with the golden glittery blazer with the same prize. Such a steal yeah? It looks so fancy and now here is my modern tribal attire. Another look I wish I could wear in the office! Aaargh haha. So what do you think of it?

MR. MR.

Inspired by the outfits of snsd in their comeback Mr. Mr. which is playing here in this post. Not a kpop fan? Scroll down and click that pause button. Sadly their comeback stage promotion has ended so early, been addicted to watching to all of their live performances and as much as I wanted to do a dance cover with this outfit... hahaha! Maybe next time, still finding courage here. Okay kidding. Truth is, blame to being me as an 8-5 and 6 days a week office girl giving me so much blog hiatus. A little sad face here but hey it also feels good to be working and getting to know new people around. Anyway, what do you think of this look? I also wore this at work without the heels and of course hat. Recently, I've been loving to wear whites. It looks crisp and light, perfect for this summer heat. White is the new black so if you wanna be the center of attraction, you can go for it. Not that I'm saying I want to be haha! It's just that I feel good in all-white that day.

NEVER WANNA LET YOU GO

"Quit playing games, don't lead me on. Make me feel like I'm your one when you're gonna let me go." And this is my current favorite by Megan Nicole. I love it that she's starting making her original songs now, one of my favorite youtubers. Love it, it's so upbeat. Do you too?

What makes this simple dress catchy is its lime green color below and the cut. It's also stretchy so I can wear this in the office with the knee-length plus straight cut look (let me show you the look on my next post). Plus, it's so cottony and so comfy I can run and play wearing this and with a pair of comfy black shoes to look a little bolder.

ROSES

Such an attractive and at the same time very chic print. It's so refreshing in the eyes and really suits the spring/summer vibe. Do you also love them? 'Cause I do! Don't forget to click on the image to shop for them. Kisses :)

BARED

Summer heat is on again and that means more looks with barelegged. Leather for summer? Why not. But just make sure the inside fabric will not keep you sweaty and uncomfortable all day and leather shorts may be accepted, but full pants under this kind of heat? Good luck haha! I wore this aztec crop top (okay it doesn't look like crop top, blame it on my short torso!) just to add details on this plain look. What do you think? Really a comfy lazy dressing. Well, good night for now!

SPRING VIBES

13 comments:

If only I can go to office like this. That feeling... Oh well. So it's spring dressing again and what I love with this season is seeing sweet pastel colors here and there. Onto my ensemble, nothing special just a plain tee and skirt. Good colors really bring life to any dull and plain fabric. It's just in a matter of good color combination, light yet crisp. Finished it off with these heels to add up a bit of sophistication. Imagine if I wore flats or sneakers. So, how do you like this look? Also, I'm currently falling in love with my short hair, thought I couldn't give up my long mane but then... trying new things is good!

BIKER IN STYLE

10 comments:

Pairing red with white makes a clean and crisp get-up yet still striking like when you go with black if you want a bolder version. So in love with this skinny slash flare pants, it goes well with the flare-y cuts of my biker-like blazer. I like the flare part better because it makes petite size to have longer-looking legs.

Again time to sleep now to save energy again for my 8-5 tomorrow. #therealworld Good night loves!

FRINGE

1 comment:

After a year and three months, I'd said bye bye to my long permed hair and hello to my fringe now. I actually been thinking whether to reperm or not but  for now I'll have it this way maybe for months or until I feel like perming it again. So, what do you think of it? A-h-h, been away for daaaaays from blogging since I had my first ever job, oh 8-5. Now I know the feeling.

YOU BLEW ME AWAY

12 comments:

I'm in love with this dress, this will surely be a bestfriend during lazy dressing 'cause the print alone can add on your gloomy vibes. It's also good for the coming summer because its fabric is smooth and slightly see-through. It's my second week in a corporate job and first ever job experience, getting more and more busy now. But of course, never will I leave this blog and especially you my loves! Besides, I love being busy, in a productive way. Also of course having enough sleep is still the priority. So good night loves!!

PINKY SWEAR

24 comments:

Had worked for a week and took my first Sunday day-off with location shooting. Location shooting it is! Mom and I went to Tarlac Recreational Park, kinda gone with some road-trip too. How do you find this pink chiffon cardigan? It's perfect for summer cover-up. Also, didn't want to be so girly on this look and color, hence finished it with these black shoes. These aren't boots, but just a pair of flat shoes with socks.  I think it's not really a dress but a shirt. But with my petite size, I chose to have it as the casual little black dress. Oh, wind, wind, wind, you blew me away refreshingly. Good night!

WRAP ME UP UDOBUY

It was just so cold that morning and thought this will be my chance to wear this wool sweater. Knowing cold weather isn't usual here as well as thick sweaters like this, but still had the guts to have this and wear haha! The print is just so attractive and the colors. Paired it with a nude leggings so the sweater will be the center of attraction (literally? yeah!). By the way, I read some reviews about this wool sweater that it's so itchy on the skin and honestly yes it is but only if you wear it straight from the store (shipment I must say) without washing. I washed it twice first and worries gone! Hope you liked this look! Should get some sleep now. Good night!

BRAINY HIGH + GIVEAWAY

The color of mind and the intellect. It is optimistic and cheerful. So what color I'm talking about? It's so obvious with the outfit. Who loves yellow? Do you? Aside from my super favorite blue, the next color I always hunt when shopping for stuff if blue is not available is yellow. But not the bright one like neon type. I love this kind of shades I'm wearing here, the creamy ones. Lighter hue than this dress will be my pick. If you want to be a scene-stealer sweetly on the streets, go for full-polished yellow dress with some interesting details on it. Yeah, I'm pointing to this specific dress. This is my first ever one and I'm loving it! Had already thought what other looks I could create on this dress. Oooh, sounds like summer outfitting is perfect for this one and it's nearly coming again guys!

So, I wore this on a job interview with a pair of appropriate pointed flats (haha). Otherwise, I opt to wear boots on the streets. It's more striking. On the other hand, ballerina flats are cute and sweet but pointed flats are savior if you need to attend in a corporate attire but hate heels. This dress is love, soft-quality fabric, and good detailing. The only problem is that it's loose for my size, though this is already the smallest size. Am I really that slim? Haha!

GIVEAWAY PART.
Do you also love the dress? The color? Would you also love to have one? You could! This store, Everbuying, had teamed up with Smize With Style for a giveaway and one lucky blog reader will win a $20 store credit to be spent on the site. It's totally free shipping. And if you want this dress, you can find it here. The giveaway will run for a month starting now and all you have to do is fill up the requirements on the rafflecopter below. Note that the first 3 requirements are mandatory. Good luck everyone!

Giveaway ends on February 25, 2014.

AND THE SUN SETS

14 comments:

Taken last week, I had met one of my lovely readers (Zane Saria) in San Miguel Tarlac. She's so sweet she e-mailed me if we can meet each other while she's here on my place because of work assignment. I hope were able to chit-chat and walk around together but we had just limited time as you can see it's almost sunset, oh yeah it actually was when we met and she was so sweet to take some shots of my outfit that day hurriedly. It was my first time to meet a reader and really it's fun. I hope I could meet many more too someday, to thank you personally for following this humble blog. Love lots lovelies!

TAKE AIM

8 comments:
Today I found out this interesting store called Love Nail Tree and thought to do a post with my wishlist from the store (you can click on the photos for more details). I really love the Take Aim collection. Surely they'll go well with any kinds of outfit - gothic, laid-back, chic, corporate, etc. What captures my eyes is the story behind their collection. These arrow necklace is like pertaining to 'dream'. An arrow is a product of years of dedication. To take aim on what we do means to approach it with intentionality. Time alone determines the ability to hit our bull's-eyes (from the site). And of course the most important, with Him above, you can reach your goals. By the way, this is not a sponsored post, I really just love these items. :) So, what's your aim?

THE SLEEK TREND

Good morning! I'm back with this sleek hairstyle and a new blog look. I love my not-so-new layout, it's so me. LIGHT AND BRIGHT

18 comments:

Maybe you're thinking you already saw this blue-green shirt from my previous post just two days ago and yes it's this shirt again. As I've said before and I think I always say it here haha, I only have a small wardrobe and that means I wear my clothes over and over again until I finally feel satiate with them then that's the time maybe I need to dispose them out already. I don't mean throw them out (of course!), what I'm saying is to sell and then afterwards I could buy new ones again. Sometimes, I donate them to the needy instead of selling, if and only if those certain apparel could be used by them (party dresses or whatsoever shiny and printed mini skirts of course will not be useful to them, so giving food and the basic needs will be of more help...so sell the old clothes and buy food, that's it.).

Light and bright --- I can manage to wear two pieces long sleeves shirt here, only if the fabric is this light. Yeah, they are both see-through. So as you may see, this pieces are already so familiar if you're a regular reader of this blog. Well, I'm starting to clean my little closet and open up again my online shop to sell them already and have a new ones. New year, more new inspirational outfits for you, particularly to those who also have small wardrobe like me. I hope from my past outfit posts, which, almost all of them I wear three to five times already and still keep wearing it again, hope you were still inspired on how to 'wear it again' in a different way and look.

Moreover, I am giving away this exclusive 20% off coupon on all orders from pariscoming.com. If you liked this cozy look, you can shop almost same pieces from the said store and you can see my recommended ones below this post, you can click on the photos. Don't forget to insert the coupon code upon (smizewithstyle8&hh) checking out. Only until January 29, 2014. Grab it now!

STUDDED

Back when I was younger and still in high school, I always splurge for dangling (or what the fashion world called as statement pieces) earrings. The bigger and longer the more captivates me (well as long as my ears can handle them...) and really got used to it (except when school days of course), I was in love with the colorful ones no matter what season. Now it seems my favorites are the opposites, back then the reason that I love danglings is that I don't need to lock them up to keep the pair of earrings stayed on my earlobes. Since college years I love these (you'll see below) simple and oh-so-cute ones. But don't judge them with their size 'cause they too are adorable and usually the ones who have stories to tell (especially when given by someone, hmm, you know what I'm saying..). Nevertheless, I love both, as long as they shout for fashion and of course of my style taste. It always depends on what time or what season of the day it is and what you feel like wearing to finish off your perfectly done outfit. How about you, what earrings do you prefer?

Now I want to introduce to you this shop, bornprettystore.com, you can find lots of studded earrings with the lowest prices and the good news is I'm giving 10% off coupon on all orders (just enter this code - CQT10 upon checking out) to all of you who will shop in there plus it's free shipping worldwide so you don't need to worry about it. Some of my favorites are posted below this post. You can click each of the photos to direct you on the product page.

DRESSV A-LINE WEDDING DRESSES

4 comments:

DressV introduces their A-line Princess Wedding Dresses Collection. So you're thinking this is supposedly a style blog and contents should be regarding the blogger's style but hey wedding dresses are fashion too. Not that I'm dreaming of what will be the look of my future wedding gown (haha that's so so in the future pa) but this kind is my taste (I guess for now, you know people change...as always and style change too). Nevertheless, what I like is the detachable blue details, you know how much I love the color and mostly is those adorable drapes. They have so many dresses to choose from, go check it out and tell your friends maybe you have ones who'll planning their 'the day' soon.

MOVING FORWARD TO 2014

15 comments:

New beginnings await for this new year. I didn't prepare a new year's resolution as I plan to make lots of it, my daily and weekly and monthly goals as a blogger and in personal life. I want to change more things this year and try new ones. Thanking all of you from the bottom of my heart who's been reading this blog since the very beginning when I created it a year and a half ago. With that span of time, I learned things I never knew I would and could learn, all just through blogging. I hope you'll be with me again throughout exploring this 2014. My biggest and top goal for this year is to come out from my shell and explore more about life. Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. Pinky swear to myself! I wish you too all the best in your 2014 life my loves!
